I don’t know what my feelings are…

So I had (well what I thought I had) a brilliant idea. 

I would check Amazon UK to see if they had Sherlock season 2 on dvd instead of waiting 238293 years for it to come to the US. 

AND JESUS FUCK THEY HAD IT. 

I freaked. Instead add to the cart and was ready to purchase. 

It was $22 plus shipping. Fine. I accept these terms. Order sent. Should be here in about two weeks. 

Then I started to realize this was way too easy and why hadn’t anyone else thought of this?….so I went back and found out some nifty information. Apparently they have regions for DVD’s. Something I didn’t know. US and Canada fall under a region. Region 1.  UK (and some others) fall under Region 2. Okay neat dvd info,right? Sure. Then I see the “region 2 dvd will not play outside their zone” in the Sherlock dvd info and realized that my once clever idea,sucked. After quick research you can’t play dvd’s outside their region. Why? No fucking idea. Apparently some computers will play different regions but normal dvd players only play their region specific dvds. Oh did I mention I’m region 1? Yeah. Xbox doesn’t work either. Which of course it would be region 2 for Amazon UK because thats its fucking region but to a person unaware of this crap,its a kick to the fangirl heart when you get teased with Sherlock and don’t get it. I’m also now curious if you can’t really play dvd’s outside their region. If they really won’t work.  Anyway..So for a few brief minutes…I had Sherlock. I had hopes of watching the eps on my big screen over and over again…..but nope.All the times I could have sat there in all the amazing high quality glory,drooling over Benedict and Martin. akdjasljkd Fucking dvd’s and their “regions”. 

Also its Tennant Tuesday and I saw Tennant weewee and it has ruined my vagina,soul,heart life.

4- I just wanted to cheat and have Sherlock now and not wait.

The voice in my head has always been british but now the accent will creep into my conversations and I don’t realize whats happening 

it just happens and I’m like 

and you can’t recover from a random british accent so then its get weird 

thats when I shut up,smile and go to my mind palace

When I start watching a show and its even better then I imagined.

and that show immediately takes my pants off 

because its filled with gorgeous people (and most have british accents) 

then you get consumed by the show and its all you do/care about 

and when someone tries to interrupt le show watching 

SHUT UP MOM 

and then you finish the series and have nothing to live for 

Then when you try to explain le emotions and people don’t understand and think its just a show 

but then same people start watching the show a week later and get it all wrong 

then you realize its an excuse to rewatch the series and teach them the way 

so yeah. basically my fandom/life in gif form

Found out my sister is a Sherlock fan.

I have been harassing her for months to watch it and she finally did! VICTORY. I was talking to her about the new Star Trek which of course has Benedict Cumberbatch and she told me she finally watched Sherlock. A lot of hugging and dancing then happened. I have finally got the whole family into Sherlock. My dad is almost as hooked as I am. Almost. Only bad part was she then took off after I showed her how to watch the new season online. Luckily we did share a good 45 minutes of freaking out over Benedict youtube videos before she sped off to go home and watch it. 

I’m so proud I can’t even  

I now have to set my dad,mom and sister with the last/new episode tomorrow which will be hard because we only have two computers and we don’t share. Shit will get real. 

My house is full of emotion. So much Sherlock love but ultimate sadness for the season ending. So happy. Now to convert the rest of the world.
